Boost je podiumidee

Beste podiummaker,

Je bent een beginnend kunstenaar (theater, dans, comedy, …) met een straf idee voor een voorstelling. Je bent op zoek naar interessante mensen waarmee je over dat idee kunt praten – professionele gesprekspartners met serieus wat ervaring, een open geest en een brede achtergrondkennis. Liever nog zit je samen met verschillende mensen, zodat je je concept kunt aftoetsen aan verschillende perspectieven.

Zoek niet langer. Stap van 3 tot 7 september 2018 in de tweede editie van onze PowerTalks en geef je podiumproject een verdiepende boost. Met:

• Dries Douibi – programmator podiumkunsten bij de Beursschouwburg
• Georgina del Carmen Teunissen – choreograaf en danser
• Nedjima Hadj Benchelabi – dramaturg en curator
• Geert Opsomer – theaterwetenschapper en criticus
• Mieke Versyp – schrijver en dramaturg bij Laika

WAT?

• Vijf avonden waarop je telkens een andere maker of dramaturg ontmoet
• Jouw intellectuele sparringpartner brengt teksten, boeken, films, methodieken en netwerk mee – alles wat relevant kan zijn voor jouw project
• Carrouselsysteem: elke avond schuift een maker door naar de volgende partner

WAT NIET?

• Geen speeddating of pitch
• Geen financiële of productionele ondersteuning, wel inspirerende verdieping

WIE?

• Deelnemers hebben een concreet concept voor een podiumvoorstelling klaar en willen doorpraten over de inhoudelijke dramaturgie
• Ze kunnen daarvoor nog niet terecht bij een professionele productiepartner
• Leeftijd, achtergrond, genre (binnen de brede podiumkunsten) en taal zijn van geen belang

WAAR EN WANNEER?

• Van 3 t.e.m. 7 september telkens van 18u tot ca. 21u in een Antwerps cultuurhuis (ihkv Theaterfestival). Deelname is enkel mogelijk aan alle 5 de avonden!
• In een rustige en intieme gesprekscontext
• Start om 18u met een gemeenschappelijke maaltijd

De namen van de deelnemende sparringpartners worden eind maart bevestigd.

HOE DEELNEMEN?

Stuur een korte motivatie en een concreet voorstel van je project (max. 1 A4) naar evelynecoussens@gmail.com en giovanni.baudonck@me.com en dit vóór woensdag 30 mei. Je krijgt ten laatste op vrijdag 15 juni van ons een antwoordje.

Dear artist,

You are a starting creator (theatre, dance, comedy, …) and you have an extraordinary concept in mind for a performance. You are looking for interesting people with whom you can talk about this idea – professional people with a lot of experience, an open mind and a broad background knowledge. You would even like it better to sit together with several people to bounce off your ideas to different viewpoints.

Look no further. Join the second edition of our PowerTalks from 3 to 7 September 2018 and give an in-depth boost to your performing project. With:

WHAT IT IS

• Five evenings on which you meet each time a different creator or dramaturge
• Your intellectual sparring partner furnishes texts, books, films, methodologies and network – everything that can be relevant for your project
• Carousel system: each evening the creator passes on to the next partner

WHAT IT ISN’T

• No speeddating or pitch
• No financial or productional support but inspiring and deepening support

WHO?

• Participants already have a concrete concept for a performance on stage and want to discuss the substantive dramaturgy
• They cannot yet talk this over with a professional production partner
• Age, background, genre (within the wide range of performing arts) and language are of no importance

WHERE AND WHEN?

• From 3 to 7 September 2018 from 18.00 to ca. 21.00 in an Antwerp culture house (as part of the Theaterfestival). Participants engage themselves for no less than 5 evenings!
• In a quiet and intimate atmosphere
• Dinner for all participants and sparring partners at 18.00

The names of the sparring partners are to be confirmed by the end of March.

Vous êtes à la recherche de contacts professionnels qui ont une bonne connaissance du milieu, de l’expérience et l’esprit ouvert pour discuter de ce projet? Vous aimez échanger avec d’autres artistes afin de confronter votre projet à leurs idées?

Ne cherchez pas plus longtemps. Rejoignez-nous du 3 au 7 septembre 2018 pour la seconde édition des PowerTalks. Avec:

• Votre partenaire apporte des ressources liées à votre projet: textes, livres, films, méthodes, contacts
• Le système carrousel: chaque soir vous rencontrez un autre partenaire

N’ESPEREZ PAS

• Ceci n'est pas un speed-dating ou un exercice pitch
• Un soutien financier ou productionnel - ce que nous proposons c'est une confrontation d'idées

POUR QUI?

• Des artistes qui ont déjà un projet concret à présenter
• Qui souhaitent discuter de son contenu dramaturgique mais ne savent pas avec qui le faire
• Votre âge, origine, genre artistique ou langue n’ont pas d'importance

OU ET QUAND

• Du 3 au 7 septembre 2018 de 18.00 à 21.00 h à Anvers (dans le cadre du Theaterfestival flamand). Les participants d’engagent pour être presents tous les 5 soirs!
• Dans un environnement tranquille et intime
• Diner à 18.00 avec tous les créateurs et participants

Les noms des dramaturges et créateurs seront confirmés plus vite que possible.
